GENERAL CANCELLATION AND NO SHOW POLICIES 

If you can no longer make a class for whatever reason, or you forget to attend, we cannot refund due to the time + preparation required for our workshop to run. All purchases are final.

However, we encourage you to send a friend along to take your spot, gift someone your ticket and make someone’s crafty day. Rescheduling is possible but at our discretion. 

We use Eventbrite as our primary ticketing platform for public events or will invoice you directly for private events.

+ Your seat is secured once we receive full payment so make sure to type in your email address carefully and look out for an automated confirmation email.
If you didn't receive a confirmation email shortly after your payment, check your junk mail. Otherwise, contact us at emmichanga@gmail.com

+ We have class minimums to meet, if we do not make them and need to cancel a class we may do so at any time and offer you a full refund or a credit to attend a workshop at the same value (including booking fee)  within a 12 month period. The refund or credit will not exceed the purchase price of the workshop.

+ Please set a reminder and double-check workshop dates + times. We do not send reminder emails. Unfortunately, because we have held this spot for you, purchased materials and turned others away we can not issue credits or a refund if you don't show. PRIVATE EVENTS

Crafternoons With Kirst: Terms and Conditions For Private Workshops

By signing up for any private service, including in-person workshops, classes, experiences, or online events with Crafternoons With Kirst, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These, along with the details in your Booking Confirmation, form the agreement between you and Crafternoons With Kirst. Please review them carefully before finalising your booking, as they apply regardless of whether you have read them and extend to all members of your group participating in the event.

Booking

To secure your preferred date and time, an invoiced fee of the amount of minimum 6 participants plus travel fee will be invoiced to you. It is your responsibility as the group host or organiser to ensure all group members receive a copy of these Terms and Conditions.

Final payment must be made 7 days before the event. Failure to complete the payment by the due date will result in cancellation of your booking. Any deposit paid will be retained as compensation for planning and booking. As the organiser, you are responsible for collecting and submitting all payments for your group. Additional security deposits may apply depending on the venue selected.

If you wish to arrive earlier than your scheduled booking time, you may do so if we are present and setting up for your event.

Group Size

Our events require a minimum of 6 participants. Once the final balance is paid and the group size confirmed in writing, the number of participants is locked. Any additional participants after final confirmation will be subject to availability.

We reserve the right to make changes to events, facilities, or pricing prior to final confirmation. As we hire venues for workshops, we cannot guarantee a specific venue for your event.

Medical & Liability

If you or any participant has special medical requirements, allergies, or is pregnant, you must inform Crafternoons With Kirst in writing at the time of booking. Failure to do so may prevent some participants from fully participating due to factors like accessibility or the use of certain products. In the event of an allergic reaction or any other medical issues, Crafternoons With Kirst will not be held responsible.

Cancellations & rescheduling

21 days or less before the event: No rescheduling. Deposits for venues and staff will have been made.

21 days or more before the event: A credit note will be issued, which is valid for 12 months.

3 days before the event. Refunds are not guaranteed but will be reviewed on a case by case basis at the discretion of Crafternoons with Kirst.

Attendance Conditions

Alcohol: BYO alcohol is permitted but must comply with State and Federal liquor laws in Australia. Crafternoons With Kirst is not responsible for accidents caused by alcohol or illegal substances. Crafternoons With Kirst may provide a glass of complimentary sparkling wine per participant, and ID checks may be required. Underage participants will be asked to leave with no refund issued.

Food: You are welcome to bring food. You are responsible for serving and disposing of any remaining food. Ensure that you are aware of any dietary restrictions or allergies within your group.

Smoking: Smoking is not permitted at any Crafternoons With Kirst event.

Punctuality: We begin events promptly at the scheduled time. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, we cannot accommodate you, and no refund or rescheduling will be offered. In rare cases, if additional time is available with the venue, you will be charged for the extra time at the event.

Age Restrictions: If not otherwise specified, we assume all participants are over 18 years of age. If children attend private workshops, they must have a ticket and be accompanied by an adult.

Behaviour Code

Participants must act respectfully at all times. Any participant engaging in inappropriate or unsafe behaviour will be asked to leave the event, and no refund will be provided. Crafternoons With Kirst reserves the right to remove any individual deemed a safety threat to others.

Dress Code: Proper attire is required—no bare feet. Venue suppliers may have additional dress standards that must be adhered to.

Crafternoons With Kirst's Rights

In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, Crafternoons With Kirst reserves the right to cancel the event. In such cases, we will not be liable for travel or accommodation costs. If we cancel, a credit note will be issued, valid for 12 months.

Liability

Crafternoons With Kirst takes all reasonable steps to provide a safe environment. However, participants acknowledge that there are inherent risks associated with attending workshops or events. Crafternoons With Kirst and its staff will not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation. By attending, you waive any claims against Crafternoons With Kirst, its managers, and staff for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during or after participation. You also accept responsibility for minors accompanying you.

You will be responsible for any damages caused by negligence or reckless actions by any member of your group, including broken equipment or spills.

Photo & Media Usage

Crafternoons With Kirst may take photographs or video during events. By attending, you consent to the use of these images for promotional purposes.

Imperfect Perfection

Please note that your creation may have minor imperfections—this is part of the hands-on experience.

All workshop materials are protected by copyright.

Amendments to Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically, and we encourage you to review them regularly.

Remedies

These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights under applicable law.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the full agreement between you and Crafternoons With Kirst, superseding any prior discussions or agreements.
