Join us at VEND Annerley for a creative way to swap your clothes with someone else's epic wardrobe, catch up with friends browse the Indoor markets or take art in a creative workshop while the swap is set up.

Sunday 9Nov September - VEND Marketplace.

12.30- 1.00pm - Check in your Jewellery pieces
1.00pm - Workshop starts (until 2.30pm)

Who is this event for?

This event is perfect for anyone who has broken jewellery or pieces they have never worn but haven’t donated. Bring them along and contribute to a huge stash of findings. Or, upcycle what you have using new earring hooks or string and clasps.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
1. Bring a min 5 pieces of jewellery (earrings, necklaces, beads, brooches)

2. At registration we will help remove any old earrings hooks/ de-string beads etc so they can be added to a collective 'stash'

3. Once all pieces have been registered and we have the display, we will have a workshop for you to create 2 new upcycled pairs of earrings or a necklace.

I provide all new earring hooks, jump rings or necklace making strings and clasps as well as access to an additional stash of beads and shapes.

This is the perfect circular way to pass on pieces you no longer wear and make something you love!

Note: it is the PM session after the clothes swap on the morning so you can come to both if you like!

@vend_cafe_annerley is licenced so grab a champers or a coffee while you craft!

FAQs
What if I have more than 10 items?
Feel free to bring extra, but you’ll only receive 10 tokens to swap. The more pieces we have, the more epic the swap!

What if I don’t have 10 items?
We do need 10 pieces per person to make the swap work. You can team up with a friend to meet the minimum (i.e. 20 pieces between you but if you friend has 13, they will get 13 tokens and you make up the 7 items)

What happens if I don’t find 10 pieces to swap for?
Just like any shopping trip, there’s a chance you won’t find everything you’re looking for. But we guarantee you’ll leave with a fabulous necklace, new memories, and a great time!

What can I bring?
Adult clothing only – no underwear, swimwear, or activewear please. You may also bring accessories such as handbags, necklaces and other jewelry and scarves. Please no shoes.

What happens to unclaimed clothes?
You may take any of your own unclaimed items home after the swap is declared complete. Any unclaimed items will be donated same day to DoOp Shop just around the corner. DoOpShop. Do-Op Shop is an op-shop with a difference! They are a non-religious charity, donating directly to local causes.
